SIAT Faculty of Biomedical Engineering is looking for talents worldwide

The Faculty of Biomedical Engineering at SIAT is NOW seeking applications for the following opening positions.

Position #1: Dean

Responsibilities

1.Faculty operations including: administrative management affairs, school development, discipline development, faculty recruitment and development, teaching/research affairs;

2.Education/Academic operations including: educational development plan, teaching program design, course design, undergraduate/graduate affairs;

3.Daily administrative jobs andother related jobs.

Qualifications

1.Obtained the Ph.D. degree in the biomedical engineering field;

2.Have worldwide academic reputation, and made outstanding academic achievements in biomedical engineering field;

3.Experienced with the higher education,and have administrative appointments in world famous universities for over 3 years;

4.Be able to work full-time.

Position #2: Associate Deans (Two)

Responsibilities

1.Faculty operations including: assistthe Dean with administrative affairs, school development and impact, faculty/staff development, course/curriculum teaching practice, undergraduate /graduate development;

2.Daily administrative jobs andother related jobs.

Qualifications

1.Obtained the Ph.D. degree in the biomedical engineering field;

2.Have made exceptional academic achievements in biomedical engineering field;

3.The candidates having administrative experiences in world famous universities would be considered in priority;

4.Be able to work full-time.

Position #3: Chairs/Directors (Four)

Responsibilities

1.Department administrative operations including: major/curriculum design, faculty recruitment, HR, undergraduate/graduate development, facilities and research administration;

2.Daily administrative jobs andother related jobs.

Qualifications

1.Obtained the Ph.D. degree in the biomedical engineering field;

2.Have performed high-impact research work in biomedical engineering field;

3.Have obtained a tenured faculty position in world famous universities or academic organizations;

4.Be able to work full-time.

Position #4: Faculties

Qualifications

1.Obtained the Ph.D. degree;

2.Have conducted high-impact research work in biomedical engineering field;

3.Beable to perform independent high-impact research; Have rich teaching experience, and interested in contributing to undergraduate/graduate curriculums;

4.Be able to work full-time.

Part-time positions in the National Innovation Center for Advanced Medical Devices (NMED) are also available to accelerate the translation from lab to industry under certain circumstances.
